Tirumala Venkateswara temple is a well known temple of Hindus, located in Tirumala in the hill town, near the town of Tirupati which belongs to the Chittoor district of the state Andhra Pradesh.....
The temple of Sri Govindarajaswami in Tirupati forms one of the most important of the temples. Its specialty is the Gopuram which is quite large and is visible from a long distance. This temple was consecrated by Saint Ramanujacharya in 1130 A.D.
In this temple also, the conduct of functions and festivals is of the same nature as in Sri Venkateswara temple. The yearly Brahmotsavam in this temple is held in Vaisakha month every year. Also, the yearly float festival is celebrated near this temple.
