Tirumala Venkateswara temple is a well known temple of Hindus, located in Tirumala in the hill town, near the town of Tirupati which belongs to the Chittoor district of the state Andhra Pradesh.....
In Tirupati, only Sri Kapileswaraswami temple is the one which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
It is located towards north about 3 kms from tirupati, at Tirumala hills foots. Kapila Teertham is the sacred waterfall located here, which is also known as Alwar Teertham. Brahmotsavams yearly and many other festivals like Mahashivaratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, Annabhishekam and Skanda Shasti are being celebrated with great show and reverence.
Other temples that function under the Kapileswaraswamy temple are located in the second Ghat road and are Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple, Shri Vinayakaswamy Temple and Sri Lakshminarayanaswamy temple.
